Here's "my cookie girl" as a clear stamp! The sweet creators at Crafty Secrets included my cookie girl image in their Sweet Stuff clear stamp set. You can buy it here, or maybe find it online at eBay searching for Crafty Secrets stamps.
I made a card using the set I own. I came to the conclusion that I love to cut and paste paper, but when it comes to stamping, well, I need more practice! Any hints out there for me?

Eeeek! Look at those kids! They have gotten so big and cuter than ever! I really can't get over Ellie. I think she and Charlie are kind of close in age. You look beautiful! It's so good to see your smiling face again!
As for the stamping...here are a few things I learned...some, the hard way. When you use clear stamps, use a lighter touch. If you squish down on the stamp it will spread the image. If you use a magazine (or a professional type stamping mat) under your paper, you will get a sharper image when you stamp. Dye inks and solvent inks have a tendancy to stain your clear stamps. I usually use pigment inks. I bought this sweet set as soon as it came out and it always makes me think of you. There are so many stamp companies out there...check this one for some adorable sets...

WAHOOOOOO....yay, you're blogging! Your grandkids are A-DORABLE first of all and that stamp set is SUPER cute! I sell Close To My Heart which all our stamps are clear acrylic. We have foamy things (you like my techincal talk??) that you place under the paper when you stamp to make the image sharper. I'll bring one to church to show you. Also, with new stamps, you need to "season" them, kind of like a pampered chef stoneware. You have to ink and stamp it several times on a scratch paper before it really picks up all the ink in every area and will make a good stamped image. I've even heard of people "roughing" theirs up with sandpaper but I'm not going to recommend that since I don't know if it works or not. Anyways...glad to see you in Blogland!!! :)

Your stamp.................. I've always loved it! As for stamping... mine could use some tweaking too. Love that card you made though. Those colors: pink and shade of green go so well together. The cookie cutter stamps are really sweet. I bought a cookbook to scrap that I haven't even started on. Thought I'd put my Mom's recipes in it... especially ones in her own hand. The kit came with lots of embellishments but no stamps. So I've been lookin for some cute ones that would be baking/cooking styles. Thanks for the link, I may check it out.
